Good Morning Band!
Just a few details for Today’s parade at the Lenawee Medical Care Facility. 200 Sand Creek Hwy. Adrian, MI 49221
Before the parade-we will need about 10 students to help load all of the instruments in the trailer at 4:15pm on Monday. We don't leave the instruments over the weekend because of the temps. If you can help please comment on the Google Classroom post.
We will meet at Lenawee Medical at 4:45 pm (behind the building. Look for the trailer.) Please park in the field as they direct you.
Please wear Khaki shorts and your Maple Marching Band Shirt. Not everyone has marching shoes yet, so any shoe appropriate for marching is acceptable. We will ALL unload the trailer, take instruments out of the case and then stack them nicely.
The parade steps off at 5:30pm, we will march around the building twice and then stop in the front, reform into our concert arcs and then play everything we know how to play.
The parade sequence is:
Cops drum cadence
Covacha
Cops drum cadence
Everybody's Everything
Cops drum cadence
AHS fight song 1st ending (so we play it twice)
Cops drum cadence and repeat
After the parade we will bring cases back out, load and leave.
We will need about 10 people to UNLOAD back at the school. We do not want to leave instruments in the trailer in the heat.
Also, if you signed up to get your uniform fitted please be back at AHS before your time to ensure everything goes smoothly.
